This is a really great CURLY wig for the price. It has nice length and enough fullness to be realistic. The hair is soft and falls in gentle curls and waves. But this wig definitely needs to come with instructions in order to get good results. NEVER USE SHAMPOO OF ANY KIND. It is too harsh for this hair. Gently detangle hair BEFORE washing using a quality conditioner. Once hair is clean, cover with conditioned (Garnier sleek and shine works great). Let it sit for ten minutes then rinse. Gently roll in towel to blot water. Gently detangle with fingers or wide tooth comb. Apply a good Leave In conditioned (Garnier makes a good one). Place on wig stand and allow to air dry. Finish with a moisturizer made for curly hair (soft sheen gold instant actvator is
great. When completely dry, finger comb hair. If you follow these directions you will have shiny, bouncy curls. Touch up each night with a light application of leave in conditioner and curl activator to avoid matting. Trim the bangs to frame your face and enjoy all of the compliments!

My wig came curly, not straight as shown. However, I loved it and decided to wear it curly. After wearing it for about three weeks, the back at the neckline began to mat really bad. I had to spritz it with water to get the tangles out, which would last a couple of days, then it would be matted again. The front and sides still look good with no matting.

I was excited when I saw the picture of Hilary. My niece said she looks like you so I ordered one. I was shocked when it came curled up. I used a flat iron and curling iron and it stayed wavy. I am 60 and feel that the wavy look is not for my age. I called and they offered to send another one and promised it would be straight. Well, now when I called after receiving the second one curly, I decided to stop buying for a while. I have been with Especially Yours since 1996 when my sister had ovarian cancer and I ordered 3 wigs because I could return the 2 that she did not want. I got too much misinformation and had to go spend $50 more to have it professionally straightened and it is NOT cut to layer like the picture of the straight Hilary.

Sent in a style that couldn't be changed without voiding purchase. Sent matted. Not attractive. The picture is beautiful; not sure I could accomplish the same from what I saw.
